Why We've Stocked EOS Footwear for Over 8 Years
EOS footwear is a Melbourne-born label that has been making leather shoes for decades, and at The Tartan Fox we've carried it for more than eight years. In that time we've watched customers come back for their second and third pairs, which tells you more about a shoe than any marketing copy can.
I've learned over the years that the labels worth stocking are the ones that keep their quality consistent. EOS does. The leather is fantastic, the construction holds up, and the sizing stays true season after season.
That consistency is why we keep reordering. If you've bought a pair of EOS footwear before, you already know what you're getting. If you haven't, this guide covers the styles we carry, how to wear them, and how to look after them so they last.
EOS Footwear Styles for Every Season
EOS really can’t put a foot wrong (pardon the pun) regardless of the season. Styles fall into one of three groups: boots, sandals and wedges, or everyday flats. Each one is built for a different kind of day. Boots are even a consideration for summer. With summer festivals, weddings and events in cooler climates and travel.
Let’s talk what’s in store right now for Spring -
Sandals and Wedges: Arias, Carmins and Stara
The EOS Arias Wedge Sandal ($189) has a 7cm wedge heel with a 3cm platform, so you get height without the pitch. A singular adjustable toe strap, an adjustable ankle strap with burnished gold buckle closure, and a padded sole on a super lightweight construction. This shoe is the ultimate for those that love a bit of height but still want to be able to run around. Looking at you short mum’s like me! Trust me, this one is so comfortable you’ll forget you have it on.
For something less structured, the EOS Carmins Sandal. ($189) available in Brandy (a signature brand colour ) Chestnut and beautiful Acorn Suede. This is a rework of that classic roman sandal. A gorgeously soft anatomical footbed cradles the foot and the soft straps wrap around the foot giving great support. For the perfect fit an adjustable strap has been placed at the arch of the foot and of course the ankle.
The EOS Stara Slide ($185.00) is a classic two strap design, you could say a nice Birkenstock. It’s a flat sandal with a moulded footbed and gorgeous suede straps adorned with studs. A relaxed everyday style to slip on and go.

Everyday Loafers: Mocc and Jenna
The EOS Jenna Loafer in Black ($129.00) has a padded tongue and a padded flexible insole, with a 22mm block heel. It's the pair to reach for when you want polish without effort. A great work shoe that keep you comfortable all day.
The EOS Mocc ($189.00) is in everyone’s carts, this beautiful slip in in full calf suede and moccasin stitch detailing is a must for spring, a 20mm low heel on a lightweight leather and rubber outsole. It's the summer shoe that just works with everything. It’s a no effort classic.
How to Style Sandals With Jeans
Styling sandals with jeans comes down to one thing: the hem. Get that right and everything else falls into place. I've been styling customers in Bright, VIC for years, and the same rule holds whether you're in a cropped straight-leg or a wide-leg pair, the sandal needs room to show itself.
Here's how each denim cut behaves with the EOS sandal we carry.
Cropped straight-leg denim. The easiest pairing. The hem sits just above the boot, so you see the whole shoe. The Carmins works well here because the multiple straps and asymmetric design are worth showing off. A single roll at the hem is usually enough, it lands right at the top of the ankle and keeps the line clean.
Wide-leg denim. If they are long enough the Arias Wedge is perfect in this situation. The height elevated the denim almost giving a 70s vibe which is definitely a style right now. Its 7cm block heel stop wide denim from swallowing the shoe.
Straight-leg, full length. This is where the Mocc earns its keep. The elegance of this shoe lifts this denim shape. Make sure that a full-length straight leg breaks just at the ankle rather than pooling. Pair it with a relaxed shirt sleeve knit and you've got a cool, confident, effortless summer outfit.
Boyfriend and relaxed-tapered denim. Cuff them once and let the sandal do the rest. All theses sandals will work with this style, you’ll be so surprised.

EOS Mocc in Cocoa
A quick word on colour. If your denim is dark indigo or black, a brandy or chestnut sandal adds warmth without shouting.
If you're between two sandal styles and can't decide, think about the denim you wear most. Cropped and straight-leg denim points to the Mocc. Wide-leg and dresses point to the Stara or Arias. Full-length straight and tailored trousers point to the Mocc or Carmins That's the whole decision, really.
Styling Bold Coloured Shoes Without Overthinking It
Bold coloured shoes work best when the rest of your outfit steps back. That's the whole trick.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes EOS footwear a reliable choice for everyday wear?
EOS builds each pair around comfort that lasts past the first wear. The Jenna loafer has a padded tongue and flexible insole, the Phebes Chelsea boot uses a lightweight rubber outsole with grippy tread, and the Arias wedge sits on a moulded anatomical footbed. Leather linings and insoles appear across the range, so your feet stay cushioned through a full day at work or on the weekend. Most styles are standard fit, and we list foot lengths in centimetres on each product page.
How do I style EOS ankle boots with jeans?
It comes down to the hem. Cropped or straight-leg denim that finishes at or just above the boot shaft keeps the line clean and shows off the boot. The Blaine's asymmetric cut and double metal zips work well with a slim straight leg, while the Janice's 7cm block heel suits wide-leg denim that skims the floor. Tuck a relaxed tee or fine knit loosely at the waist, and you have a look that works from the school run to dinner.
Does The Tartan Fox ship EOS footwear across Australia?
Yes. We ship Australia-wide, plus New Zealand. Every pair of EOS shoes we list is in stock and ready to send, so you are not waiting weeks for a restock. If you are unsure about sizing, check the foot-length chart on the product page or get in touch before ordering and we will help you pick the right size the first time.
How long has The Tartan Fox been stocking the EOS brand?
Over eight years. We started stocking EOS because the leather quality and comfort held up for our customers, and it has stayed a core part of the footwear range ever since. That history means we know how each style fits, how the leather wears in, and which pairs suit which foot shape, so we can give you a straight answer before you buy.
