The Knit Vest.

Those of you who struggle with this, never fear.

It’s a layering piece, if in doubt wear a white t-shirt or a white shirt underneath. If the vest is neat, make sure what you wear under is neat also.

Mix it up with a different coloured pant. Or if you are wearing denim pop a matching denim jacket over the top to complete the look.

We can be tempted to wear a neat fitting cardigan by it’self or just with a plain tee, but I love this look . It’s still neat but so much more fun. For wearing something a little looser underneath, make sure you button only the first one or two top button. A silk scarf worn like a tie can add a touch of pattern especially if the rest of the outfit is plain.

The big chunky knit can pose problems when wanting to look a little more made up.

as you can see though matching it with a more tailored looking pant can really give a sophisticated look. If you feel a little too short or squat looking with it hanging out loose, just give it a little tuck to the side or front. I don’t care if that’s out or in these days, we’re not all 6ft tall. LOL
